Sometimes you get an apple that looks fine on the outside, but when you slice it open, you find that it is rotten in the middle. An apple like this you just throw away. The opposite is also true; sometimes you might find an apple that looks slightly damaged, but in actual fact once you eat it, you find there’s nothing wrong with it, and that it’s quiet edible and wholesome. The proof of the pudding is in the tasting.
