It was the Pyramid of Equality and Inequality, and it was perfectly in balance. Because the Equals were at the top thereof, and the Unequals were at the bottom thereof.
But the Unequals became unhappy and said they wanted to be at the top for a change. The Equals said that this would not be possible, as it would make the entire Pyramid unequal, causing it to collapse. The Unequals were adamant, they would advance to the top, and the Equals would come down to the bottom, and there would be no compromise. But there was compromise, for the Equals persuaded the Unequals to make the change from top to bottom, a gradual one. So as to lessen the chance of the whole Pyramid becoming Unequal, with the impact of a sudden change.
So a few Unequals went right to the top, while some of the Equals went right down to the bottom. Things went well overnight, but early the next morning, as the sun broke in the east, the whole Pyramid did indeed become unstable because of the disturbance in the balance of its Equals and Unequals, and it collapsed. C'est La Vie.
