Unexplainable

Come child, smile for a while
before you turn deaths dull dial
before you walk the last muffled mile
to eternity's interminable isle
My common sense, ceases to function correctly
At this jeopardy junction, join the jollity
met magic message, my pre-destiny
Not realizing my subjection to sorcery
Had a dream of a well known stretch
of road, stuck with a sketch
and thought of how it would be; death on the highways
slaughter him lest he first slay me, a song says
someday soon do in somebody some way
presently ceased contemplating this killing
Said to myself: After all you're no gun slinging
gunman, no cut throat, no hit man, no killer
you've something to live for, you got her
Due to neglect I lost remembrance of my vision
should have had more respect for super sense and
shouldn't have naturally assumed it was an illusion
brought about by my boredom-caused hallucination
My temporary seizure was past
Lost my lively love life, lost my lass
passiveness passes, no need for glasses
nothing to live for, aint got her no more, pain surpasses
all feeling inside, refreshes my memory
tells of marvelous magic and wondering wizardry
inside of me, never knew my ability
until I had to use jiggery-pokery
then her exclusive enhancement
was no match for my enchantment
since our parting perchance meant
that demons to fill her place in my soul was sent
In the gloaming riding, waves in my mind foaming
Knowing that somehow in the night's hours
I'd be used by delightful dark powers
but the exact task I wasn't permeating or penetrating
So unknowing, unsuspecting I went charging
into combat immortal with my mortal chassis
I didn't plan it, at first thought it a jinx
but, damn it, some demonic force caused it, me thinks
a chronicle of cessation, "close the curtains will begin
down the hill the car goes, cruising, like the wind
sudden unexpected clash, blood oozing, torso torn from limb
something in my soul tears, something tears within
somersaulting blindly back, face strikes window
for a second seems to say: See you later where I go
flying freely thrown so far through purple night air
Hurtling human football, erect is every hair
prostrate, lying quite a distance from the point of impact
after this exact attack, hard to think him once intact
person projected, permanently propelled past life
what terrible death was cast by fate, this death dive
My vehicle despite damage, rides on until it's vanished
hunger for experience so long famished, should have been banished
when we went looking found him reclining to say a word
not absurd for he is dead, blood reminds of curd
The car stood solemn, stately... steadfast
tale-telling taking his master safely through night last
the left side of his face a messed contortion
him like man ripped rudely out of proportion
Meeting the cause, giving himself applause
saying: Hi, my name's Nick, I open and close doors
you just do your ascribed chore and I will see, where ever it be,
your name gets written on high
About a task well done I have long and often gloated
like an evil seraphim with illumination-coated
after many a comparison I say never I've noted
any man or woman with so much wicked wit
There's a thing that still bothers me badly and I
will find out why the vision was half-truth, half lie
I have proof; in the vision on the opposite side
of bridge and through fare did I die.
