The valley was stretched out before his eyes, green, gold and peaceful. It was wondrously beautiful in its wealth of nature. All that lived and existed in the valley was at peace, and in harmony. The valley was a rich spectacle of the lovely countryside. The wind was fresh and gentle on his breath, as he stood and viewed the bounteous valley.
The trees were green, and strewn out in clumps of greenery, across the valley. Fruit tree groves were growing in regulated patterns on several of the farms. The groves were lush, dark green squares, on the valley's surface. The wind was light as it rustled the rich, tall yellow grass, in waves of breezes. The grass swayed to and fro before the wind sweeping over it.
The birds in the sky glided, and flew gracefully, on the light air currents. They flew above and searched the valley floor from on high, for food and nourishment. The clouds were scattered in thick white banks against the sapphire blue sky. The sun was a burning golden coin in the sky. On either side of the valley, tall mountains stretched out, reaching ever higher, and disappearing into dark blue peaks. The mountains stood like monolithic sentinels, guarding the peaceful valley from outside interference.
And scattered over the lower hills of the valley, were the flocks of sheep and cattle. They grazed contentedly on the rich grass of the valley, and wandered about seemingly without aim, as they fed. They lived a peaceful life without tribulations in the beautiful valley.
Winding through the valley, alongside the river, was a well-worn dirt road. The road was broad, and the soil was dark red in color. The surface of the dirt road was hard, and strewn with rocks and pebbles. The road wound its way through the valley, and disappeared in the distance. The river that ran alongside the road was a broad mountain stream. Its water was clear, and flowed vigorously through the rocky river bottom. The water, from which the river sprung, came from waterfalls higher up in the valley. The waterfalls were strong, and dropped clear blue water from above.
Tall old farmhouses, and their outside buildings, dotted the landscape across the various farms in the valley. The people that lived in them lived happy and contented lives, amidst the bounty of nature. The people and the animals that lived in the valley, lived in harmony with the glorious nature. And the beauty of the valley was an entity, a living thing, within itself. The wind swept the tall grass and the green trees, as the sun shone fiercely from the deep blue sky. The white clouds drifted lazily by.
