THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER (2016)
Jennifer Wade (Mira Sorvino) is a minor TV personality who really needs a break from her own life and her tedious boyfriend, so her agent Paula (Brenda Crichlow) offers her the use of her cabin in a small town mountain retreat, so after arriving at the airport she hires an inappropriate car and heads for the mountains.
However on her way there, a snow storm blows in and in the resulting blizzard she veers off the road and crashes, knocking herself unconscious.
When she comes to she has total amnesia and blunders about in the snow, fortunately a friendly Samaritan rescues her and takes her home.
Her saviour is local vet John Blake (Cameron Mathison) and home consists of himself and his three children, Jamie (Elle McKinnon), Kyle (Jesse Filkow) and Daisy (Bailey Skodje).
Of course as the Blake family nurse her back to health and aid her in getting her memory back, feelings emerge that weren’t there before the accident.
Thoroughly enjoyed this movie, which was perfectly paced, the photography was first class with some lovely external footage.
Sorvino is excellent as the lead, but then she has never disappointed and Cameron puts in a typically fine performance as her love interest.
