Not so dead as I appear to be.

Bare limbed,

no signs of life to see.

Skeleton tree.

 

Yet, still I stand,

with the others

covered in leaves.

I love the beauty of skeleton trees, their branch shapes showing. I suppose sometimes, one suddenly finds a leaf appearing in one 'corner', fresh growth. But otherwise it seems they are a memorial to what life has produced and that doesn't rot away quickly! Rhiannon

Yes, they look good stripped back. Still a tree :)
