boils down to motivation and needs
a self-illustrative poem
When an author wants to...
escape from himself, the novel use
of words will enshrine, or ridicule anything.
The crass reader, always present in his
mind, oversees each performance, high
praise, being the benchmark sought.
Mouthing phrases in mirrors exposes:
astigmatism, bent nose, skew-whiff ears, an
inherent propensity to slap, spit and scratch;
conclusively reveals the unreliability of
metaphorical sphincter control, for
spite, will release catches to trapdoors
literally holding mud back! The aim is to
be admired no matter what, expressed as
donating a gift to the world, at the
expense of someone else.
