My daughter has a pet snail named Bezo.
He's managed to survive several weeks.
Bezo the snail makes life look so ease-o.
He comes out of his home when Mary speaks.
He's already slimed down the bathroom drain
Spent four days lost on the Pontiac floor.
He crawled up the pipes to surface again
Discovered in a can next to the door.
He's wiser than an Oklahoma toad
Both in our hearts and in his swirl he dwells.
I found him on a Canadaigua Road.
I thought he was another empty shell.
Don't judge because a home is full of dust
Sometimes what lives inside is worth our trust.
