December in Carolina

I went for a walk this morning. When I returned to the house Lynn asked me about the weather. I said "the weather is beautiful if we are in Rochester but down here it's kinda cold only in the mid-fifties."
No ice storm
No polar vortex
No ice jamming
No snow shovels
No slipping on frozen dog puke
On the walk, I passed by a house where a guy was hanging fake icicles. I told him that I liked his icicles better than the ones I used to know. I asked the gentleman where he was from. He said he was from Brazil not far from Rio. I wondered if the guy had ever seen an actual icicle in his life.
I almost got killed by one once. I used to love 'em. I'm over it.
So I look at my Christmas house in December. I notice the flowers BLOOMING next to my garage. I'll always be a New York guy but today I'm thankful to be down South.
