Escaping Into A New Cell

Halftime has officially come to an end with an unexpected pep talk.
I've been resisting a cell phone because I don't want to be in touch with everybody all the time. I spent the early part of my life in a non-electrified cottage in the woods near a lake. Since that time a road has been added as has running water and electricity. I liked it better the old way.
My wife made it clear to me that enough was enough. We need better communication to escape.
She hooked me up with a cell phone.
Instant acceleration.
I made my first cell phone call. I was returning a call from a modern day friend that came in on my land line. I enjoyed the conversation. After about 10 minutes of hilarious and significant talk, my friend hit me with a quote from Hunter Thompson. The conversation could have gone on another half hour but at the conclusion of the Thompson quote...I said "let's just leave it there...it's a perfect place to stop."
We concluded our conversation and my first cell phone call ended with these words "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up , totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming 'WOW! WHAT A RIDE!.'"
And with that, the first half of my life came to a successful conclusion. I have achieved escape velocity. A new orbit is already in progress. The skid and the smoke will follow when beneficial.
Wow
