Jazzy little number
By ice rivers
Here's a jazzy little blues number
that I wrote five minutes from now
that you might remember if you're two weeks ahead of me.
I can hear the music when I play
the silent keyboard on borrowed time.
Yeah, we're all on borrowed time
My time is starting to tick down way down
you don't get this deep without a lot of digging.
Big Jim admires my output. I respect his input.
Once he asked me why I was laughing.
I told him I was laughing at my own stupidity.
He told me that I had a lot of material to work with
which explains my output
and the difference
between a trench and a grave.
All about the filling
Oh yeah, pretty Mama
Take it Albert.
Thank you very much.
You've been a great audeince.
