Lincoln's Doctor, James Dipschwitz, was vaguely aware of his past.
James was an overachiever of the highest degree which says more about the capabilities of his ancestors than it says about James himself.
Going back to Neanderthal days forward to the days of dungeons and dragons, onward and upward from Shakespeare, over to Ireland and finally crossing the sea to America the Dipschwitz carnival staggered forward on freshly re-invented square wheels.
The less James knew the better and due to centuries of cloudy parentage very little had been passed on through any intelligible form of communication.
James himself wasn't sure of his parents but from an early age he knew he didn't like his name.
His name was John so he decided to call himself James which rolled off the tongue a little better.
Even though there was a lack of documentation, James often would sit back, light a fresh pipe and with his dog Rex or King or whatever at his feet, James would imagine a past that had virtually no resemblance to his present.
So we'll take those thoughts from his head and give him a few that are a little closer to the mark.
