Science is aimed at truth, art aimed at beauty.
When we examine our degrees, do they indicate an interest in beauty or truth? A B.A. is an interest in beauty a B.S is an interest in truth....
If I remember correctly a degree in education is a B.A., which is a degree in beauty, and if that education degree is in art (ELA for example) that degree must indicate an interest in really beautiful beauty and if that education degree is in science (physics, chemistry, biology) etc that must indicate an interest in beautiful truth.
If beauty is indeed truth than really beautiful beauty is equivalent to really truthful truth and beautiful truth is equivalent to truthful beauty.
Are the college educated walking around saying that they/we have a greater interest in truth and /or beauty than those of us/them without a college degree? Is this what those financial aid forms and loan payments are all about? Is beautiful truth the key to middle class life.
And what is true anyways?
True is helpful.
False is detrimental.
True is beautiful, detrimental is sad.
It’s a sad and beautiful world and that’s the truth.
