The dog lay on the mat, while the cat lay in the cardboard box. The cat was snuggled up comfy and warm in his box as he always was. The cat gave a slight yawn of satisfaction, while the dog on the mat scratched behind his ear. ‘Why are you always lying in that box? Winter or summer, you are always curled up inside it.’ Said the dog. The cat opened up his one eye lazily, looked at the dog, and said; ‘In winter my box keeps me nice and warm. In summer it keeps me cool and comfortable. I could lie here all day. You should get yourself one.’ The dog just wagged his tale, and got up from the mat, and trotted off saying; ‘Boxes are for cats and bones are for dogs.’ The cat just smiled to himself, and snuggled up cosy in his box, to sleep softly once more in its blissful peace and comfort.
