There was once a man who was hard done by by another man due to no fault of his own. He had suffered great loss and pain because of the harm the other had caused him, so the emotions of love and hate started to have a severe argument within him, as what to do about the matter. 'Maybe we should just wait until this whole thing blows over. No need to rush in and do anything rash ourselves. I bet he will get his just deserts in the end.' said Love. 'We were both hard done by this, and so was our master. If we don't act now it will just keep on happening, again and again. I vote that we should settle the matter once and for all and get even with the bastard.' said Hate. The debate continued for a long time, but Hate was dead set on dealing with matter decisively, so eventually Love conceded, and it was decided that the man would take revenge. He took revenge, but this was against the Law, so when the authorities caught up with him he went to jail himself, and nothing happened to the man who had done him such harm. Now he suffered another great injustice because he would not listen to the voice of reason within his own heart.
There was also another man who was also hard done by by another man due to no fault of his own. He had suffered great loss and pain because of the harm the other had caused him, so the emotions of love and hate started to have a severe argument within him, as what to do about the matter. 'I opt that we should destroy this swine. I have never been so done in. If we do nothing about the matter we will lose face, and everybody will laugh at us and scorn us forever.' said Hate. 'If we act to hastily, we might sit in jail for the longest of time, and no good will come of it. There's other ways to deal with the matter. I think we should just sleep on it and see what happens in the morning.' said Love. Somehow Love persuaded Hate to let it be for now, and when the man woke up the next morning, he felt much better about the entire matter. Not long after that the Law of Karma caught up with man who had harmed him, because the fool could not help himself, and kept on wronging other people. The Law eventually caught up with the chap and he went to jail forever. Now the man realized that one should always listen to the voice of reason within your own heart. To think, if he had listened to hate instead of love, it could have been him in jail and not the other way around. Always remember that the wheel is still in spin. What comes around goes around. Love conquers all.
