THE MASTER THIEF
By JP BROWN
A ‘Master Thief’ was once operating in a big and wealthy city. In the dark, silent night hours when all was asleep, securely trusting in their fate, he was out there plying his trade. Acquiring riches untold from such unsuspecting victims, as he stole away their money and their precious items, by the skills of his trade. He lived by his wit, and put a hold on his heart, because love and the job did not mix. For many years he stole from the rich, and hid away his booty and his cash. He obtained a pretty penny as the years passed, and his art of thievery became supreme, and far above the reach of law. Until one day when he met a beautiful, happy girl, and she in turn stole the Master Thief’s heart with her innocence and warmth. She was the thief of his heart, and she stole all the love he had in his soul, in an instant. The old Master Thief had at long last reaped what he had sown. He was the victim of love in the end.
