   Above

full moon stands firm 

In demanding presence

   Below,

tumultuous waves

crash against rocks 

as if with splayed arms

hugging their out crop-pings,

creating sea and foam 

reaching upward

high, in the mystifying night, 

a lit disk demands attention

giving surge, and momentary repetitive movement

to the waves beneath ,

stayed in their coarse. 

then leaning backward in motion,

powered , overtaken, pulled

by the  Orb’s  incomprehensible, force.

ebb and flow discipates beneath

their watery womb’s boundless depths

  Above

the steadfast  moon

commands

In unfathomable  silence
