You’re in the air that I breathe
But not tangible;
How does Almighty God
Dwell in the human heart?
By Faith
Through Grace.
When I blink
From these eyes
Your eyes look out.
“It’s no longer
I that live…”
My tooth aches
Do You feel it?
Love has invaded this heart
Like eczema
Invading this skin.
The reality of Your aliveness
Is as subjective
As my opinion
Of that opinion.
So
I ask
“Where does this ache come from?
How can I love
With such visceral emotion
Something
Made of nothing
Holding everything?”
