Under This Heaven

Under this Heaven,
there is every kind of electricity.
20 years of walking with a limp,
evidence of a dislocated hip,
that reminds me of a struggle I lost,
and yet won.
My new name is Grace.
Under this Heaven,
what is unseen is more real than what is seen.
I know `Him` so well,
and my longing is an ache in my heart,
and my gut.
Every desire satisfied leads to more hunger,
as though the new revelation just opens a new door,
on another horizon.
Under this heaven,
there is a sharper light,
and what was known as the real,
is too small to live by.
I will say your name,
such an outrage,
Jesus.
Under this Heaven,
only the poor in Spirit,
recognise the beauty,
the purity, the liberty,
in Your name,
of Your name.
You make me transparent,
and You `know` me.
I sense Your presence,
and I love You.
