E BROKEN

The note glared fiercely at me
Three trapes sprung each strutting proudly like a dumb bird
who finally sang
The eyes stared at me balefully
Her voyage filled breath held a whisper of an impending gale
Three command wrapped in a whirlwind sack
Goodbye ;This time excuses flung far
The heart armour clad ,eyes flinty, ready for war
I am sorry ; Residue of ice from last winter
Encase the heart like mud on a claypot after buring
I need a tittle time ; gaze hard at a star
yesterday a candle sighted
runing bareheaded in the wind
Dreams held close like the second coming
Strange ,so strange
But the note still glared !
Racked by guilt, who knows?
I, who sat motionless like a chinese buddha
As she read and cursed
Pale and shaking like one suffering from the curse
If the note could sing, the melody would be wild, so wild,
never mind it's foul mood.
Beware ;woman are sharkesprean in mood and swings
Thier love could be the calmness of dawn after a stormy night.
The betrayal swif and savage like an indian's revenge.
Yet the note still glared!
She who allowed a footstep into the sacred chanber .
heartbeat stopping like aclock with dead cells
sitting still ,so still,
looking like a buddhist monk.
