Well, it was intermittent, but never-ending, unfortunately. A cold, calm approach was necessary to remain efficient, but the emotional effects were felt of course at the strangest of times, luckily, I too, had a debriefing therapist when needed....

Strange time-lag seeing light

Posted on Sat, 12 Sep 2020

Strange time-lag seeing light arriving from distant stars, but the moon, so near, and seemingly larger these days? Lovely poem, full of movement and light. One of my old special military skills back in the days was Night Navigation (without any ...

Such great poetry, Rachel,

Such great poetry, Rachel,

Amusing and well-drafted poem

Posted on Tue, 18 Aug 2020

Amusing and well-drafted poem that's an appealing read, due, on my part, for being free from 'heavily-stilted' and/or 'art-for-art's sake' manipulation! Just flowing observations from a tolerated trespasser with an 'emergency-exit' garden gate...

Beautifully structured poetry

Posted on Sat, 08 Aug 2020

Beautifully structured poetry, Rachel, with its lead in observations opening out into philosophic thoughts awoken; gives extra quality by expanding the descriptions into another dimension like you've done so especially well here. Much enjoyed!...

Thanks Rachel. I think Art,

Thanks Rachel. I think Art, Dance, Music, and Poetry can all be spiritual emanations magnified, but that anything spiritual stays within, and ends with each particular performance or finished work. The only thing that can be transferred to others...
