Like the ambiguity of the title - suitable for both father and son. It's serious and sad without being maudlin and this is hard to pull off. One, possible thought - does it need the last line? Doesn't everything before this make it clear without...

Like the sheer conviction of the world you create here.  It's completely believable because you create it to be so.  Otherworldy and totally recognisable. Works well in its differentness. :)
