The mysteries of the night are all here written in your fantastic poem Paul.
Love the idea of Sirius beckoning humanity's gaze. Also the lines:- souls floating beyond visible ether, Heaven waits enwrapped in shrouds. Great descriptions....
Hooray! For the thunder and lightening bolt. I must admit to having a bit of a chuckle at the sight of the Sergeant's face, expecting to see the almighty creep up on him.
