"Rat Crime"

This rat closes down on you,
bringing carrion death.
Every new experience creates fear,
but in the facing,
adrenelin;
and a triumph of emergance.

This rat is black heavy in fact,
it's nearness making downy hair,
stand, alarmed.
Beauty is in the freedom,
to express the true feeling.
Desdaemona still singing,
after soft pillow suffocation.

This rat's eyes burn with knowledge
and love of the stain.
You always hate the one you love,
with more passion.
The understanding,
between eyes that know eachother's crime,
uncovered by grace.

Rat teeth, fangs,
rat breath,
squeal of rat,
whose death?
Purity is confession,
cleansing in the forgiveness,
and we start again.
