Synopsis
To the Beethoven Halle, Wembley and back with Rydens School
Band

This story is about the amazing Awards I won with my school
band. It also includes all the St. Trinian style things that happened
in the band, which made it bond together and grow as well as improve in
stature.
Chapter 1 Rydens reputation in Theatre
Chapter 1 is about ex-Rydens pupils who were there before me
and went on to appear on stage and screen.
Chapter 2 First Year in Rydens School Band
Includes: Kiss chase, True or Dare a water fight on the river
Nectar and a jealous boyfriend's revenge. As well as this there is a
footballer, who was playing in the highest league in the Country and
Rydens Band's first International trip.
Chapter 3 Beethoven Halle with Rydens
Ex-Rydens pupil working along side Jimmy Carr and Harry Hill
at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Rydens Band represents Britain by
invitation of the German Government at the anniversary of the city of
Bonn. Also we played on German Radio and were filmed on German
Television meeting Chancellor Kohl.
Chapter 4 San Tropez with Rydens
Headmaster learns his nickname stands for "blow-job" and the
contuctress almost has her wig removed in full flow, plus false dog
shit and skinny-dipping.
Chapter 5 Top UK Award goes to Rydens
Rydens "The King &;amp; I" musical wins the top award in
the Barclays Awards nation-wide competition for Best Musical Theatre
Production which was held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Rydens also won
Best Actress.
Chapter 6 Jesus Christ Superstar
Rydens Band persforms at the Child of Achievement Awards and
a few band members appear on a daytime television show on Channel
4.
Chapter 7 Favourites for top United Kingdom Award
Knocking down a fence in a Pub Car Park and burning rubber
skidding around a roundabout. As well as coming second with "My Fair
Lady" in the top award at the Barclays Awards United Kingdom
Competition for the Best Musicial Theatre Production.
Chapter 8 Wembley
Rydens School Concert Band playing at Wembley for the u-16's
England v France football Match. We played to 23,000 people. Playing in
the main match were: Jody Morris (Chelsea, Leeds), Michael Branch
(Everton) and John Curtis (Manchester United, Blackburn, Portsmouth).
The Chief Guest was Paul Ince.
Chapter 9 The LCM and the start of my lyric
writing
Talks about what inspired me to start writing lyrics. Also
includes "Peter and the Wolf" and ?1,000 trombones with the
LCM.
Chapter 10 Esther Ranzthsen and Simply Red
Is about being in the audience of Esther Ranzthsen's talk
show. Lots of behind the scences' information on how "Eshter" is
produced. Plus Simply Red's pool table outside my
office.
Chapter 11 Panto Land
Is all about 1st Hersham Venture Scouts second Pantomine
including the guy dressed as the puss in "Puss 'n' Boots" being fed two
day old cat food and someone who had a cucumber smashed over his head.
Also includes me being called out of the audience in order to Kiss dick
Whittington's hand. As well as telling the audience that I was unable
to play my part of the King of Morocco as I had lost my
voice.
Chapter 12 "The Boyfriend" by the Elmbridge Youth
Theatre
John Avery and Richard Davis put on the Elmbridge Youth
Theatre's first production "The Boyfriend" which included lots of
ex-Rydens pupils.
Chapter 13 On top of Thames Radio
Meeting a top DJ at Thames Radio. Plus joining "The Guild of
International Songwriters and composers" and joining the Mind's Eye
Writers.
Chapter 14 Max Clifford is a Rydens School
Governor
Max Clifford Rydens School Governor takes some pupils to meet
Westlife , Simon Cowell and Louis Theroux.
Real life but put in a positive way. Feel good factor comic happy go
lucky story.
