A veiw of life through my eyes

from the ABC set Poetry

life poses many problems;
one of these is love.
but we think this is insinificant
we think as we go,
from place to place
that we should have our eye
on bigger problems that a lonely person

one such problem is Africa.
poverty no doubt is a problem
but do they ever feel heart-break
not the sort of a destroyed family
but more over
one you truely love
being grasped
and pulled
cruely away

now imagine this
when heart-break occurs
you aren't hungry
you can't sleep
you become imunie to humour
it is a long drawn out pain
which drive straight throught the very soul
a pain which sould never happen
and yet every reminder
can easily make a grown man cry

and now this
a starving child in Arica
they can't eat
they never sleep
they have no grasp of western humour
life is a long drawn out pain
but life is short,
well at least for most,
over in a blink of the eye
pain in a third world counrty
is short lived

my point is thus
pain can be expressed in different ways
the physical pain of a torn nation
but also the diving and unknown pian
of a destroyed love
and i may be ill educated
but i believe this pain to be
far worse than any other
