He sits there
in that dark and lonley corner
reflecting on things past,
present and future,
curled up, protected,
face in hands
head hanging low,
eyes sting with tears
that seem to have come
from nowhere
but have nowhere left to go,
emotion weeping
from his very soul.
And from out of the darkness
a stranger appears,
a figure only just visable
through the tears,
reaching out,
almost offering
to take away the pain,
and make him whole again.
Sometimes it's better to cry alone
but sometimes it's better
to share your burden,
get your head back in the game
and when tomorrow comes
just start over again.

Great sentiment, yes, strong ending.
Just a tip: careful to check your work through for typos before posting. Often helps to leave it for a few hours then come back with fresh eyes.

I like the ending too andrew.
it's "seem to have come" not of come.

New Andrew-Evans
Never cry alone?
Someone told me once
"Pick Yourself Up
Dust yourself down
and start all over again". Wise words.
