why?

I was walking around a park one day watching time pass by.
I saw a woman perched under a tree crying, she was in a emotional state.
i approached her and asked "are you okay?,"
there was no response given, so i carried on walking.
The following week i was walking round the same park, And as i peered across, perched under the same tree was the same woman crying, she was in tears again, i stopped and stared as she was shaking in such upset, Her head slowly looked up and stared deeply back into my eyes with the scent of fear, so i looked away and carried on walking.
Another week goes by, And i took another stroll around the same park, i thought my eyes were lying to me at first, but then i saw the same woman,
She was no longer perched under the same tree looking distraught, for she had taken her life, the rope was tied thorough to the branch of the tree, where She was hanging..........
........i couldn't carry on walking.
