I am not I
I am not you
I am neither singular nor plural –
I am the absence of I, not the opposite,
the absence of you,
I am the presence of something
that does not exist.

I move things one space to the left –
the presence of my non-existence
lets them be what they are,
have their greater shape and form.

I
am the placeholder allowing
the fresh thought,
am a cavity for creation
