Travels with the Daemon

Virtually
yours
what if the dream is
real?
and these blooms of light
that kiss my
eyes
are virtually
everything, but
me
would I leave thee now?
blinded by this
truth I know,
exploded in pixels,
darkening my
night
or is this virtual reality
my chosen
state
where I believe
and matter, matters
not
now I can love thee
and hold thee
here,
in my eye's caress.
loving thee from zero to
one
style="font-weight: bold;">Morning
flowers
Consider
armoured
insects
trancending
water
ascending
incandescent
consider
jewelled
tokens
locked in summer
tumbling
each secret
sky
consider
when you grunt
at the
moon,
the poetry
of the dragonfly
style="font-weight: bold;">The DNA of Sunflowers
Rage
and fire rave here,
demented,
stir the
fields
with the comet's lash
Oh! - how they
weave,
loom,bloom,
forever speed
this
cyclotron
Slash, implode, flash
from
distances,
where seeded stars
sleep in
heaven
The
Prince of Ones and Zeroes
And lo! there
came
a fifth horseman
a fragment of
darkness
torn from the raven
in the
interlude
between stars
his shadow
sparked
the comet's mane
hands
cupped,
reciting a litany
of ones and
zeroes
style="font-weight: bold;">Vows
I
vowed I would love thee,
crouching for
benediction
kissing Welsh rain
from your smile, above
me
I love thee still, beyond betrayal,
but
this winter is dark as
spiders gently web your
face
catch the diamond breath of tears
Time
weathers me, shamen invite
a dance with
scalpels
serrated rituals, stainless steel,
slicing
through my fading light
All vows now are
broken
excepting one I don't regret,
before I met
thee I pledged
bend the knife - never bend the
knee
