Endless story, continued

One day the Elders of the Horde decided to come together and talk about the little planet they used to protect in the past.

The race that lived on it already decided to leave it many thousands of years ago, only a small number of them decided to stay, in the last remaining city.
Well, actually it was not a city, but a small island more or less in the middle of the big ocean which separated the two large continents that were formed when the original single continent split up.
The Elders heard they were all killed in some disaster which took place not so long ago, the entire island disappeared during the big natural disaster which killed almost all life on the planet.
The crater caused by the asteroid was already coooled down.

The discussion today was if they were going to look after the rescue work and what to do with the planet.
The regional supervisor, a Light emitting creature called Jahwugh, has sent his soldiers out to search and found nothing, only bodies.
He was now using the samples taken from the former plants and animals to create new ones.
They already cleaned up the atmosphere from the dust clouds and dangerous gasses.
Large biospheres were used to grow new plants and animals, trying to keep them in balance so they would not eat each other right away.
First the plants, the technique used needed only a few days to create an entire grown up plant or animal.
It was like putting together some materials in a mould and then fill the empty cells with DNA, spray some chemical on it and it comes to life, they passed the growing up stage for clones already eons ago.
When finished the plants were taken to the biosphere and put in the ground.
Animals followed only days later, after all they were a bit more complex.

The discussion was now if they would restore the civilization as well.
Jahwugh was, as supervisor, of course in favor of this.
The only problem was, that the best samples they have from the people there were from a rather primitive tribe originated from the servant class. They were not as tall as the last tribes that were destroyed, and had the habit of changing skin color in the sun, they became darker, something that never happened with their elevated brothers.
The other samples were lost in the disaster.

The Elders were divided on what to do, create the clones and let them inhabit the planet or leave it to the animals.

“They will just start all over again and destroy their own environment, and each other, like they always do, keep them uneducated as servants”, said one Elder.
“Yes, but we can form them better now, keep them from dangerous knowledge until they are mentally grown up” said another.
“No, we have to make them curious, always looking for new things to learn, that will speed up their evolution before they develop destructive thoughts.

These were only three of the many options discussed.

Jahwugh took the word.
“Honored Elders, I have only a few days left before all plants and animals are ready and I want to take a day off at the end of this terraforming thing, already working for three days in a row and 6 days will be the maximum I can handle now”.
“If we keep discussing on how to deal with this we will never be finished.”

“So what do you propose?” was the answer.

“I would like to set up a few clones in the biospheres, take care they live in peace with all living things around them, guard them for the outside world”.
Unfortunately I can only create male clones, the females have to be cloned from samples take from the man when they are fully grown, this has to do with some error in their DNA.
For the male it will not take long, only a few hours to grow and a few hours more for the female.
We will just see how they develop and guide them to be a peaceful race again.

My staff will be able to do the job.
They won’t let them out unless I say so or when they break the rules.
I will set up some tests for them to see if they are really up to it to populate a new planet”.

After a long discussion they decided to follow the Supervisors idea.
The native race of the planet was known as a war loving race, it caused much havoc in its days.
