The world has changed.
It is easier to be honest.
It is harder to think words.
The peeling bark is ripped away;
The trees of every forest,
Show their flesh in silver raw.
In all my life I've never known,
A change to unadorn our faces,
Borders, oceans, deserts, graces;
Man is God of man we know...
Is that the secret slowly sown?
The ripple rounding rings about us?
Each human heart grows out its borders,
Small agonies are no more fresh-
The wordless sights of hell awake
Spinning in the eyes of children.
Never before.
Never before.
The world wears red shoes.
The dancer is man.
Hope is a sap
The forest weeps.
Love is our weapon
Under the sand.
