Loaded Words

The words are delivered like a ligature to the brain
Driving me insane

Causing vocals to asphyxiate
So I regurgitate what I believe as truth
Manufactured without no proof

Yet it's the flame retardant aspect that protects me from sin
The inferno in which I regard as sanctuary I live in

For I'm understood within my hood, and all whom know me should
And do not insist on unleashing my vulnerabilities for fear of revenge

Instead they make me fall to my knees in disgust
At the amount I'd laid my mistrust
Life's so unjust

For when an opportunity arise, certain eyes are spied in the mist
Looking to capitalize on ones mistakes
Or naivety?, for people take kindness for weak

And whole months now fleet by and still I know not why?
But for the confusion that still resonates chronic, causing spasms to the lungs
A pounding palpation, surely my times now done?
As I perspire profusely while voices whisper in my head
Laying claim to what I've said, and manipulating it so that I side or quit
I'm now torn and split

Do I tell the truth or accept abuse, ridiculed in scores
Incriminating and more for sure, I abhor being a tool of self-destruction
To entice many a fool, not by choice we flock though are guided
Am I now the one whom lied and hid?

So now I perpetuate a consumer state
So that one can relate to a technological embrace
But feels no haste about a life they'd take
For they're many continues remain playing this video game
What a shame I too am to blame

So can I go back and make amends to all these so called trends that blends cultural ends
Which makes us who we are
One shining emblem amidst a multitude of stars
Climbing to outshine one another
Although the sky is vast and can accommodate all whom seek, merely ask

For that's the balance in act
Both positive and negative, cause and react
An Einstein fact
Now go figure that!
As you sit back, for the shows just begun
You only get one ticket Son
Be careful what you wish for Hun
The gun is now loaded and these bullets are words
Be careful where you aim them
For there truths and can hurt.

There's a powerful aggressiveness to this piece, I could almost imagine it as a rap.

Solemn solitude is how I see this. Pin pointing injustice. A small incoherence (9th stanza) : " For there many continues remain playing this . . " I don't quite understand ?? Maybe my lacking. . .
