Millions of years ago a princess fell asleep.
A sleep that would forever last,
A sleep no prince could awaken her from.
A crater she was laid in although she had no choice.
The others she was laid with they were not all rich.
The princess dinosaur laying in the ditch.
Although she was dead, her magnificence shone still.
Princess Tyrannosaurus Rex lying on the ground.
To soon be dug up by the future of death.
In the museum the hairless apes gape,
The princess sighs,
Her bones rattle as the kids treat her as a playground.
Then at night, the museum closes and she wants to go back.
In to the past, she reminisces about her kingdom and when her daddy was with her.
The Princess was only young a mere twelve years.
Fully grown to support the kingdom,
She heard of the Neanderthals of the future and laughed.
Never thought their ancestors would dig her up and progress.
So her tears are dried on her face as tracks.
Her life is in tatters.
And then she realises,
She's dead.
She wishes the future of death hadn't dug her up
She preferred the ground to this dead zoo.

I like this concept; it is unusual and rather unique. What I would like though, is to see it expanded upon. I think you should treat this as a work in progress and bring it a little further. The last line is good and I would keep that at all costs. Just a suggestion; I just think that I have not read anything remotely like this, especially with regard to subject matter. There is a lot to commend here. If you do extend it a bit, please give a shout I would be interested to read more.
Chris ;)
