THE BRUSH OFF!

A=Action
B=Beauty
C=Computer

I would go to car wash
If I had and could
drive a car

Press! A button
for the roof to lay down
the bonnett would come up

Touch the computer button
so the machinery
went into a bed

Down would come
the brushes
that would soap
with oils all over

which would make the skin soft
another brush
with a velvet touch

One could move their head
another the neck
and arms would be lifted

Legs that never worked
toes would be curling
from good circulation

As the brushes worked
for every situation

Beeme
would be there
giggling

Drawing faces on paper
and sucking her pen

People in nursing homes
and Troops been traumatised
As I know about too
know one in wheel chairs
that would be grand

All joints and muscles
tissues and nerve ends
would all move again

All people come out
blushing!
thinking of a car wash
brushing
computer
could do

I read it was done for a Cow
then produced so much milk

So why not one
Like David's invention

A machine of dreams
and full of buttons
to make us all brand new!

Our eye's would sparkle
the heart would beat fast
we would all be relaxed

Laughing and tickled
because of the brush of love
the car wash

David be there
with ideas and books
Tina with love
MistakenMagic
hold someone's hand

Then I would kneel +
and say thankyou
for this wonderful day

This is a brilliant poem, Julie. One of your best I think! I love the message behind it and the imagery in these lines is just superb:

'which would make the skin soft
another brush
with a velvet touch'

and

'Legs that never worked
toes would be curling
from good circulation'

Well done ;)

I agree with Magic, Julie. You have done really well on this one and your hard work shows.

I like this stanza especially:-

"A machine of dreams
and full of buttons
to make us all brand new!"

Wouldn't mind one of those myself.

Oh and I love the title, by the way. Very clever;-)

Ah Julie, for this I am happy to take the blame, but to you I give the plaudits. A mix of humour and humanity. Great stuff.

Hello! David, well shows
I read yours, but a lot of this
is 100% true, especially the wheelchair
bit, family and great friend now.
And quite a bit reflects me, an been there.
So tried to make your machine very
comfortable, and enjoyable and funny,
but one time, couldn't do nothing at
all. When I came on here year ago, thinking
just poems, I wasn't going to talk of anything.
Now it is too late? But if some is comforted it
by putting bits on life's experiences mine.
I'll be their agony aunt. I can empathise with
them, for them, and comfort now.
Oh! stop moaning. when I read it I think it is so funny. One has to be there, for families and friend's
but not always, someone there for me.
Only "The Beautiful Hands Of A Priest".
Very wet out. But good. day. Glad you like it. I can feel the pain,of other's. now.
I was part thinking of the film The Time Machine! great. And I did poem called Oh! For a bed for the homeless". part says a car for a bed, as one went by
or pushing the bed, for a collection. And the cow, no! not me, it was in the paper, new way of milking it, instead of by hand. And the nursing homes, sometimes have a switch, turns or rocks the bed. But still, like to see, a machine I mentioned,
your asking? I'd also like, window wipers, miniture
for glasses, first when one drinks things hot, lenses steamed up strange, and the rain?
And a lot of help and comfort on here, engaging
with other's, as Editor tcook aBCtales Tony says.
But can only do up to a certain limit.
bless you

I never realised most
of it was me, but Kheldars'
David poem, was a machine,
so it greatly inspired me
to do. Try and work in AbcTaler's
names that mentioned. In his.
But I am more an agony aunt.
I wish with all my heart, in a
very nice way, your title darkenwolf
could be more ligthened for you, help you.

"The Sun Seeker". what do you think!
No offense mean't, may help you.
Or just say no, mind my own business. ok
Mean't in a nice way possible. Like reading
