THE BRUSH WITH A WILD ANIMAL

The huge pigeons
have gone
their heads 2ft tall
by the wall

Then appeared
a baby squirrel
on the pillar post
from the park way down

Plus two shocks!
within 2 weeks
now hubby out 3pm
in the day

Came round the tight corner
only 2ft away
a ginger fox
nearly knocked him down

I have seen a duck
on a lead
ferrets runnning along
wonder what's next?

been a mental week too

Last time back
from 'The Wheatsheaf' London
mid-night rushing by
the full moon was out

The black cat darted in
and the sly fox
whizzed by again
caught our eyes

Life does sound exciting, if not a touch dangerous...in your neck of the woods, Julie. All those animals around;-)

I enjoyed your poem, very much, and I must admit to never having seen, or heard of 'a duck on a lead' before. The owner of the duck must have been completely 'quackers';-)

Hi! Thanks nice comment.
Well things gone crazy! here
at moment. Weather climate changing
think, bringing fox in close day time.
All perfectly true!
Good hear from you, start writing again.
Please. This just one off one at moment,
glad wasn't there, foxy about.
Was done in haste, young lads mine said
going up the road had camera,so could be in
paper. I would have screamed! Then black cat
Panther like sightings. Low wall so pigeons head
was above. Huge flying got hit by their wings once,
had shiny top on, but they were nesting flew so low.
Noise circle one and wham! right on my hearing aid.
have a good day. Well you do the drawings then I can't paint or draw. Make good cartoons.

Tina, well ferrets go down the trousers.
But along side of park amazing, duck crossing
the road, but then seen huge! Plastic duck on
top of a roof of a car well tied down, to big for a bath duck had to laugh!
Once I was crossing I just looked! laughed was I really seeing it,not halucinations help!
Defintely quacker's. No woods just ordinary streets.
Some costume dress up. Well animals have coats, and now cat's hat's mad world. Disney time.
X factor one girl Alice, and other's in costumes animals, good. Dormouse,Rabbit etc; didn't know the song! Go on get your paints out, cartoon time! This is a quiet street, mind you once two cars
pull up, dump things etc; buzz off. Could see all.
Lucky tree's pillows etc; some swop car's families
or what, step out trousers change boots from boot. off they go, see from window. Maybe see cuckoo!! next.

Hi julie,

you certainly have a lot of wild animals where you
live and a lot of escapes from danger.

A very lively poem.

Thankyou for sharing.

Don't have to go out,as can see most from
window where, mine set up computer.Light is fab;

Maybe have get wellies. I have a sense of limited humour. Was having break for a while, thinking, but
just put this on. I called it Watch Out! mine actually said the other title used. Doesn't read any
