This work is the result of a workshop organized by Robert Jarvis, a Professional Sounds and Installation Technician" AND Professional Trombonists who encouraged our group ages over 50 out of which came this,one of my earlier pieces.
As Robert says come in
we sit and chat and learn and listen
to sounds and echoes of falling rain
and blend in many noises to try and start again
with piano and chords and occasional bird calls
and concertina's melody note
we have a laugh and a drink
and our minds to think
relaxing in chairs
traffic goes by
we don't care
Our groups are made up of different people
music is a good therapy to everyone young and old
babies before birth respond
songs and stories and poems told
but without our Robert
where would be?

where would we be?

Robert Jarvis Professional "Sounds and Music Installations" I would say
I can't play at all he would
say sit at end piano and do like a
chop-sticks 2 fingers and he
would play Professionally
as I can't read or play music.
Hence word blend in.and we all
had some kind sound instruments
taught to do amazing sounds
"Rain shaker"
tambourine,flute, a stone effect
and something like dolcimer
different note each one held
with about four notes! on.

new julie says can anyone please give me the
spelling dolcimer it's like a small miniture
key board tapped with small head on.Oh'1 found it xylophone struck with little wooden hammers.
This was decided to call it "Feel Write".
All in group asked to write a poem, try of him,we
were sitting on the beach at the time. 'Professional Sounds to Music and Installations, 'Robert Jarvis" we all tried write poem,as asked in our group, different musical sounds were used,piano,rainmaker,
xylophone,dolcimer.
Mouth organ etc; it was recorded and played tune,
in the arches B/ton etc; and ask people going by,like to sit, 'write' and listen their views.Hence Robert Jarvis and us agreed Title "Feel Write".Most would say after listening they felt 'right'said after,and relaxed.And again it was put on then, Brighton Centre people listen and do the same.Pick up a pen and paper and write thoughts on it.
