I'm looking at my toes in the bath
all painted I begin to laugh
A singer's yodelling away
The ref is blowing his whistle half-time
listen! the cuckoo has started again
in all the winds and rain
A child stepping on the stones in the sea
Oh! dear I had fallen asleep
wake up! wake up! my aching feet
the clock is striking time for tea!
will it be Jam and Cheese?

Cheese is nice with bread and jam or piece cake. I learnt with child hood sweetheart when we were children at tea-time there! I thought how odd.But very nice. and with christmas cake.ooh!
