THE "SPRING" OF LIFE

When the sun and the full moon meet!
It is a rare thing
as it raises the rivers
and draws the springs

People there have
been gathering since 6.am
for the boisterious

Gushing,whooshing waves
to come rushing in

The surfer lads
with their black wet suits on
Waiting!waiting!
Excitedly!

On their surfboards
to ride on the frothy foam

Exotic waves coming in
some are standing
One has fallen on his back
another absolutely laying flat

Until the speed
and force of the
narrowing river
brings it
to the end
end

But the otherside
of the river
Is calm!so calm!

The lad's are so happy
smiling
Screaming!
shouting!

"This is exhilarating
the best experience
on earth"

And are refreshed
ready to go home
to the real world

This was a t.v. programme.
"Wales" I believe
and another on
volcanoes the
colours fantastic,interesting.
my pop,was right always
said full moon! draws Rivers
the banks overflowed

Indeed Nolan! One must have a good strong springtide with lunar eclipse. With solar eclipse too but it’s the new moon then. We may see it from considerations of the sun-earth-moon geometry and the gravitational pull of the sun and of the moon. This then determines the shape of the earth (i.e. sea), and consequently the tides.

Sounds like Macbeth, “When the sun and the full moon meet”.
Catastrophe! Apocalypse!

Thanks for the little story Julie!

It was my poem,re;t.v. programme
one or two words were used.Nolan
answered comment,into a line.
Yep!true Full Moon,pulls riverbanks,
we get floods. But this was a geography
and history, programme showing all and more Ive'
said into a poem.It is on now, channel Discovery called, Universe,I don't know we had is "Discovery".
On planets,and solar system,and earth's crusts.Interesting.Maybe it is Nolan's line,
your commenting on.Is it.
Thankyou,so much.No Mc.Beth! Don't know much about that.

"When the sun and the full moon meet!"

Impossible as Tom explained. Exactly like the story of Ladyhawk. Because of the curse she's a hawk in daytime and her lover a wolf at night so they can never meet. I like fairy tales. Jacques also wrote on this line “Paradise”.

Thanks for always writing on the happier side of things Julie. It’s no achievement to be miserable and negative honestly.

Afraid so full moon draws

named it.Only one side did it effect
the river.I don't know Lady Hawk?

And your last line,I perfectly see
your point of view. &&& nothing further
