I descend
Under condescension
Broken-eyed
And watering a storm
You defend
An untenable position
Sowing bitterness
Like seeded corn
I decline
A callous invitation
Into arguments
You’ve angrily drawn
Instead suggesting
Self-copulation
If you could find
A bone to be worn

Hmmm... angry stuff.. prefer the imagery of the first stanza to the more prosaic (?) second.
'Broken-eyed
And watering a storm'
&
'Sowing bitterness
Like seeded corn'
I found very appealing indeed.
You might want to change this to come up as a poem rather than a story, I know a few people who only read poetry on this site, so it makes a difference if you press the wrong button. It would be a shame to miss a comment for a mis-categorization, hey?

Ewan, thanks very much for your comments. The 'broken-eyed' line is my favourite of this poem.
Thanks also for letting me know I'd mis-categorized. It must have been a slip of the mouse.

Naughty mouse!
Ditto what Ewan has said in a far more eloquent manner than I would have done!

Thanks Jen. Sometimes the little fella has a mind of its own.
