Underneath your scarlet spell,
we plunder moments,
lost in translating
complex patterns
of movement and limbs.
Overtaken by your russet delights,
you pamper splendour
sealed with kisses;
your muse of pleasure
interprets my demands and whims.
You remind me how I love you;
a metaphorical pinch
then a physical surrender
to lie side by side
clasping hands.
I don’t pretend I love you,
there is nothing to pretend.

The last two lines completely blew me away.
Loved this too:-
"Overtaken by your russet delights,
you pamper splendour ..."
I always wanted to be a red-head, and now I am... Courtesy of L'Oreal (because I'm worth it ;-)
Lovely poem for a lovely sunny morning.

I wish I could write like this. Another very moving piece.
And as Tina says 'it's a lovely sunny morning', made all the better by Scarlet Spell.

- I loved this image Dynamaso! And I'm with Tina, always wanted to be a red head! Excellent piece, well done on the cherry! ;)

Tina, thanks so much for your kind words. Like you, I have always been partial to redheads. I believe this may be because my paternal grandmother was a stunning redhead although I only remember her as my white-haired Nan. Glad you liked the poem and that I was able to make your sunny day a little brighter. :)

Steve, glad you liked this one. And thanks for your kind words as well. I appreciate them.
Ewan, thanks to you as well.

Magic, you've picked out my favourite lines from the poem. As for wanting to be one, I know a lot of lovely ladies who would like to be redheads. I wonder why this is?
Thanks for reading and I'm pleased you enjoyed this.

Nice poem, Dynasmo. A good balance of intimacy and distance that highlights how humans can be insular and reflective at the same time as they are intensely involved with each other.
Nice work.

Superb imagery, love it!
I was a redhead once, albeit by accident!
