As a matter o' fact, I think that your ideas are kinda shallow.
I think you need to get all the myths you call fact, hold yo’ nose and swallow,
As a matter o' fact...
All those religions you call scientific doctrines and moral defects you call research
All these scientists who’re prophetic of all the oceans and their stress
Those who wallow in the'r mighty depths
As a matter o' fact,
I think you got no mind left
You got not a dime of security,
Nor a prime insecurity
Your stability, obscured by the laughability of all your key and critical teachings
Obscured by the masked faces in your open discussion promiscuity’s and closed minds to the blunders of the ethereal world
The open part of the cave
The one you won’t ever know if you don’t rave in the fleeting spiritual cocoons we put up,
The tents we erect,
Our worshiping sects of small people, poor dull people who say:
‘Don’t do this’,
‘Don’t do that’,
‘Give this a miss',
‘Hold that back’...
And you know we’re right,
Our morals aren’t as twisted as yours and even though all we may ever be gifted at is knocking and speaking to closed doors...
Faithfully seeking for people willing to follow our all-knowing king’s commands.
See, we don’t lay down the law, just distribute it, and give it to the masses of souls that need it, praising the few people who heed it...
We’re not bible bashers in the sense that many of us don’t really read it,
many of us don’t understand the countless lines conveyed,
Some don’t even pray;
You call us bible bashers when at the end of the day we’re just...
Good word trashers,
People who preach about a book they've never read 200 pages of.
Hypocrites judging the slime of the world,
The crime in the world,
Telling people to run away then strip off,
Come to church and pray to this God who owns you...
Like our slavery is all he condones...
So, yeah... Maybe it’s our fault, maybe the reason the pews are mainly filled with spiteful men with hardened hearts
women whose only arts are...
Trickery, backstabbing, beating children to relieve them of their sins?
No,
They do so to relieve themselves of the dim reality that in this life they'll never win and in the next life...
In the next life, they wont be welcomed by their soon coming king.
So, yeah...
Maybe it is our fault, maybe your atheism is justified by the simple fact that we dont quite all live up to our standards
But thats not to the point, thats not to the dot.
Sure,
we dont all want to save panda's,we aren't all model citizens...
But your not looking in the same direction as us.
If you want to judge God then dont look at his servants, all of whom are lost.
Dont look at the way we bite and sting each other,
Cause wars and bring to each other...
Pain and sorrow
How we eat at each other...
We're not the ones who are to sin no more.
At that,even you're poor...
We just have our moments of living on shore
Beleiving in someone who means that we won't die one time or more.
Now,
You dont have to listen to me.
All I am is a kid with a few wounds that won’t ever heal,
All I got is a li'l cluster of friends,
My books and my real appeal but don’t count my words at loss,
Don' ignore them before my theory seals.
I see a world of blunders and a people who all march asunder to be slaughtered in ignorance and the ‘ideal’ way things should be.
I try to dismiss and ignore these things but sometimes I’m broke in this life I don’t control!
Sometimes I just want to curl up and come home... And then, when people bring me the ‘facts’ and they tell me I’m lost,
Tell me my home was murdered and rots on a cross!
They tell me my beliefs are false and sometimes I feel that I have to tell them about the cost...
Sometimes I feel...
Sometimes, I think these people are lost
At these times, when I start proclaiming ‘As a matter o’ fact’...
You can tell that your tossed...

I find it a pity that this sort of spoken poetry loses so much impact when you have to read it instead of listening to it!
