Before-summer assonance

from the ABC set Anonyme's inglorious return to poetry

She rises
yellow
morning dew
transparent sunshine
pierces heavens womb

forgetting nature
forgetting nurture

relaying young times
relaying fun times

She rises golden
in the blue
narcotic sentences
rogue
the hue
is beauty in the skyline
is reflected in the faces of those West Anglian gloom

as their accidental visage shapes
make content-mental mirages in the wake
and stake against their work days
pleasant
starfish on the beach
star shaped ridges in dog filled parks
and blue covered skies

She sets the sun time
and the fun time
in parlour fashion
as at one time

I dreamt she had awoke in linen sheets
instead of carpet
marbled feet
and her glow was dun
as she decided
it wasn't early enough in the week
to really rise again and set
to really wake
it wasn't yet

And so she sent the rain instead
