Boredom

Pace Borges and his thoughts on Boredom,
or temptation of poets to rhyming's whoredom,
the words that I choose
are the tools that I use:
they paint with a palette of sufficient range
to prevent my expressions sounding strange.
I wrote this -although it is somewhat flawed-
the pen began moving because I was bored.
