A single-breasted suit at the Big River Company
felt the rankings a little outré:
removed the magic numbers
for writers straight and gay.
The website felt the lack of filters
against the the stuff they write today
that might upset bible-belters
with those threesomes and foreplay.
The outraged literati sent their 'google-bomb':
the blogs burst into flames
and e-mails flooded the Big River,
signed with famous names.
'The books are still for sale,' A spokesman said
'Search us! We've nothing to hide:
we're showing our family-friendly face.'
But censorship came for the ride.

There is for the moment chuck, but a huge fine...
Particularly liked:
"The outraged literati sent their 'google-bomb':
the blogs burst into flames
and e-mails flooded the Big River,
signed with famous names."
Good, and thought provoking, as always Ewan!
not being as subtle as you I might have used:
The literati lit a web campaign,
the blogs burst into flames
outrage spread like a forest fire
fanned by famous names.
