Keep these clouds in an inside pocket,
to colour a sheltering sky.
Keep my hair in a rusted locket
as something to remember me by.
Press flower petals to a butterfly wing
in the pages of a bible nearby,
keep any ridiculous, pennyweight thing
as something to remember me by.
Keep finest bone china close to hand
and water to remind yourself why
a teacup could fill up with nothing but sand
as something to remember me by.
