Mr Brown

from the ABC set Lovers, Liars and Just Good Friends.

Here is a man:
quite well-dressed,
quite well-off and
quite well-read.

He has his faults;
some in-born,
some are self taught,
some are yours.

He is quite strong,
not brutish;
not all ego or
just an id.

He has a mind.
Make it up!
Make it sound
made for 'us'.

He'll have a son,
quite like him -
quite like you - and
quite hemmed-in.

Where is this man?
In your dreams,
in your sleep and
in your schemes.

You need a man;
for something.
For much more than
foreplay then.

They do indeed. :-) And thanks for the pointer to Niki's latest chapter, Ewan - I'd somehow missed it earlier.
