The Season's Turning

from the ABC set

The rain falls and the sun shines,
in the same hour,
in the same minute.
The grey clouds and the white clouds
clothe the same blue,
clothe the same azure.

No rainbows yet,
but one is coming;
promised by sun, rain,
clouds and bluer skies.

The rain falls and the sun shines
on the same hills
on the same mountains.
The olive trees and the almond trees
drain the same rain,
drain the same water.

No springtime yet,
but it is coming
promised by seeds, birds,
insects and butterflies.

Hi Ewan,

yes spring is coming, some of the buds are starting
to show through, you describe it all very well in
this poem.

Thanks for the read.

Jenny.
