Hotcha! Roll up, roll up, gentlemen,
come to the burlesque once again.
Tasteful, shameful, barely clothed -
slip right in while the curtain's closed.
Layla, Queen of the Serpent Dance,
Twenny years head-linin', it's yore last chance.
Ruth and Naomi, mother and daughter
come closer on stage than ever they oughta.
Hoot and a-holler at your favourite then!
Twenny three weeks 'til we pass by again.
A half-a-dollar for the world's greatest show,
learn all the secrets that the Pharaohs know.
It don't end there, we got the Orient,
Ding and Dong got the Siamese scent.
C'mon, mister, what's a half-a-dollar?
Smile at the lights and get lipstick on yer collar.

I loved this Ewan! In all honesty, if this were a book, I would read it! It completely propelled me to another era!
Thank you for sharing!
