from the ABC set Reflections

I looked behind the clouds in my heart
And saw you standing there
In the shadows
Young , bright and carefree
You stand, tall and delicate
smiling at me again
Lurking behind the pain
You fill my eyes with joyous tears 
As happiness sweeps through me
Like a warm Coastal breeze
It is just you 
and I alone 
once more
Locked in loving stares
Caring , yet caring not 
No world to distract our dream
No life to pull you away
I want to hold you
close and feel and tell you 
everything and nothing
I can smell the warmth in your hair
I need to breathe you
 into my soul
You are so very beautiful
My heart races with excitement
As you open your lips in a parting sigh
Then you are gone again
And I am left
With no right 
Simply a calm warm glow 
of a memory...
